St. Peter and Paul Metropolitan Cathedral

Historic site St. Peter and Paul Metropolitan Cathedral in Tuguegarao, Cagayan, Cagayan Valley, Philippines. Built in 1767, by Spanish Colonialist and was constructed under the supervision of Fr. Antonio Lobato, OP on January 17, 1761 to 1767 . The church has been damaged during World War 2 and restored after by Bishop Constace Jurgens.

The picture above is the building of ST. PETER AND PAUL CATHEDRAL OF TUGUEGARAO CITY.  It is located at Rizal Street, in the city of Tuguegarao in Cagayan.

It become a significant Roman Catholic Church, that played a very important role in evangelizing the people of Tuguegarao, Cagayan and the rest of Cagayan Valley.

The same picture of the Cathedral also appears at Rome Basilica and is considered one of the most beautiful works of art in the country and the world today.
